The solar panel top cover — a 450mm × 800mm flexible monocrystalline silicon panel integrated into the console top surface — generates supplementary DC power that is fed directly to the treadmill’s motor drive circuit, reducing grid power draw during operation. In typical indoor environments with ambient lighting, the panel generates 15 to 25 watts of supplementary power — enough to offset 10 to 20 percent of the motor’s energy consumption at moderate speeds. In outdoor placement with direct solar exposure, the panel output increases to 60 to 80 watts, offsetting a larger proportion of the motor’s load.
